Our last event was
Our Forth Annual Golf Outing -“A Game of
Integrity.”

On Wednesday Monday September 15, 2009, friends from as close as Smyrna and as far away as Philadelphia navigated
through the campus crowds of Newark, Delaware to the Newark Country Club for a day of great fun, good food, and some honest
golf generating $7,000.00 that will bring hope and health to 13 small children and families in Mombasa Kenya, Africa.
We enthusiastically report that 46 individuals
from a variety of age groups, cultures, religions and, more specifically, golf abilities gathered to make our third annual Bibles,
Books and Shovels Charity Golf Outing a genuine success. All winners were pleased to take choices
from the impressive array of prizes made available through generous donations and sponsors.
In addition to those generous in-kind
gifts, our tournament was also made possible by the financial contributions from our corporate friends, First Choice Auto
and Truck Repair, R.C. Fabricators, and many generous, private individuals, as well as the hospitality of Doug Frazier
and the kind staff at Newark Country Club our wonderful host.
On
a special note we want to give a special thanks to Bob Lott of "Just Bob Images" for all of the time and photos
he donated to help make this event a success. Thanks Bob.
This event was again special for our organization and on behalf of the entire Board, our volunteers
and the students we serve we express our genuine thanks to those that helped to make this day a success. Our
students know that success is translated not only through financial support for our mission but also through the many new
friends that now tell our story. Because of your financial and spiritual support, lifesaving health and
educational initiatives will continue for our class throughout this school year.
If you or someone you know might be interested in providing financial support or entertaining
a member of our Board as a speaker at your congregation or group meeting, please contact us immediately. Golf
season may be ending but the school year has only just begun and your support will provide the tools to make it a year of
wellness and wisdom for our class in Kenya.

Bright sunshine, beautiful blue sky, brilliant white clouds, gentle breeze, balmy 80 degree weather
- 18 Hole Sponsors, with four hole-in-one special prized one being a new car
hole.
- Monetary Donors that
did not play.
- Items donated
for door prizes donors:
- Awards were for; 1st
and 2nd place men’s team, 1st place women’s team, Longest drive, men and ladies, closest
to the pin on two holes, putting contest, and the worst score team, along with one 50/50 and door prizes.
- “Just Bob Images”, took photographs and some
will be displayed on the web site.
